Vegetable oleic acid is usually oleic acid or a plant-derived product rich in oleic acid. Oleic acid is an unsaturated fatty acid with the molecular formula C18H34O2 and CAS number 112-80-1. It occurs naturally as a major component of many vegetable oils, often as a constituent of triglycerides.
